I have a question for the engine gurus. Is running the Buddy Club Spec 2 muffler the same as running a straight pipe from the cat converter back? Okay heres the deal, i have 2.5 inch piping w/resonator from the cat converter mated up to a Magnaflow oval style muffler. I wanted to run the Buddy Club Spec 2 muffler.

Buddy Club Spec Iii Cat Back. yeap.. i just order my buddy club spec III cat back exhaust.. it was either this, or the type one exhaust with the additional B pipe, or custom piping with a JUN universal axel back from inlinefour.com. i figured, custom piping is not as reliable and i dont' want a phat whole in my exhaust pipe down the road, and
does anyone know what piping size the pro spec III is. i currently have the Buddy Club Pro Spec universal muffler w/ crush bent 2.5" piping from an exhaust shop locally and i feel i lost a lot of power when i did that, so i'm looking to go back down to 2.25" and stay with the buddy club though.
